Oldham County 4-H at the Kentucky State Fair

With the end of summer comes fair season. Each year, the county fair provides the opportunity for Oldham County 4-H members to showcase talents such as baking, painting, sewing, woodworking, calligraphy, and more. 4-H’ers also participate in dog, horse, and shooting sports competitions. Class champions then advance to the Kentucky State Fair.

CLOVERVILLE

4-H projects will be on display through August 26 at the Kentucky State Fair in the Cloverville exhibit. 46 projects from Oldham County advanced to the State Fair. We would like to congratulate those that won one or more blue ribbons at the state level:

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the Kentucky State Fair competitions. To qualify for participation in horse related competitive events, 4-H members must complete equine educational requirements and be registered with the Extension office by April 15, 2019.
