Master Gardener Classes Begin October 5
Master Gardener classes will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, October 5. Classes cover botany, soils, entomology, plant pathology, and other foundation topics. The cost for the program is $100. Partial scholarships to cover this fee are available. Complete details, dates, times, and registration information are available on our website: oldham.ca.uky.edu/OC-Master-Gardeners.
Master Gardener classes are designed for those who wish to become certified volunteers. Graduates complete 40 hours of service work and continuing education within one year of class completion in order to earn Master Gardener certification.
In subsequent years, 20 hours of volunteer service, plus 10 hours of continuing education, are required to maintain certification.
