Congratulations 2019 4-H Fair Winners

Demonstrating many talents and lots of hard work, 4-H members entered 230 projects in the Oldham County Fair. We would like to congratulate the 4-H’ers whose 78 projects advanced to the State Fair:

2019 County Fair Ag Results

Melody Hardin and Sarah Hardin won blue ribbons in the Youth Division of the Agriculture Department. The following Oldham County residents received one or more blue ribbons in the Adult Division:

Joyce Abbott Andrea Knorr
Denise Amos Meghan Matthews
Alice Ashlock

With eight blue ribbons, Melody Hardin was the Agriculture Department Youth Division Champion for the second year in a row, and her red tomatoes won Best of Show: Youth. In the Adult Division, Grant and Joyce Abbott won Division Champion, and their green onions won Best in Show in their division.

2019 FCS Fair Results

Congratulations to everyone who displayed their creative talents in the Home & Family Arts Department of the Oldham County Fair!

This year, Mary Elizabeth Broecker was the Junior Division Champion, and Meghan Matthews was the Open Division Champion. The Senior Division Champion was Mary Ann Mitchell. Congrats again!
