2020 Kentucky 4-H Dog Bowl and Skillathon
The Kentucky 4-H Dog Bowl and Skillathon event provides 4-H members with the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge of dog-related subject matter in a competitive setting. This year’s event was held on Saturday, March 7, at the Scott County Extension Office. Youth were tested on a variety of dog-related information such as breed identification, anatomy, conformation, behavior, health, and equipment identification.
Carrie Olds placed first in the Senior Skillathon Individual Division. The Oldham County Blue Junior Team (Savannah Claggett, Avery Hall, Chloe Hardesty) placed first in the Junior Dog Bowl Competition. The Oldham County Senior Blue Team (Freya Isenhart, Carrie Olds, Alexis Yonts) placed first in the Senior Dog Bowl Competition.
Both the Oldham County Blue Junior and Senior Teams were Reserve Grand Champions at the State Dog Bowl and Skillathon. Congratulations to all participants!
