Welcome Ashton Hilton, Our New Program Assistant
Ashton grew up on a beef cattle farm in Big Clifty, Kentucky, which is on the Hardin/Grayson county line. Her father built their farm when he was in his twenties.
As a member of the Hardin County 4-H Livestock Club, Ashton showed goats and sheep. She became a club officer when she was older and mentored younger members of the club. Ashton also joined FFA in which she showed beef cattle.
In 2019, Ashton interned at the Larue County Extension office. Her work focused on ag and 4-H programs, including 4-H project days, beef field day, and farmers market.
In addition to working with cattle and being around animals, Ashton enjoys listening to music. She especially likes to jam out in the car.
